A Summergrove Estate Wedding Full of Love, Laughter and Views
Courtney and BJ’s big day at Summergrove Estate was one for the books. Every detail — from the florals and suits to the rolling hills — tied together perfectly. Their photos and videos are a true reflection of how damn good the day really looked. With a relaxed, down-to-earth couple like these two, perfection came naturally.
How They Found Wildly Ever After
Courtney and BJ first met Anthony a few years back at another Gold Coast wedding he photographed. They loved how he worked the room — cracking jokes, keeping everyone relaxed, and still nailing every shot.When it came to planning their own wedding, they decided to go all in and book Wildly Ever After for both wedding photography and videography. Affordable, creative, and full of value — the choice was easy.
The Venue: Summergrove Estate, Carool NSW
Tucked in the hills of Carool, Northern NSW, Summergrove Estate is one of those venues that never misses. It’s only 30 minutes from our base, and it’s pure magic — incredible views, beautiful ceremony and reception spaces, and a calm atmosphere that makes everyone feel right at home.

The Wildly Ever After Photo + Film Team
The day was captured by Anthony and Bianca, our newest team member. These two have a brother-and-sister style dynamic (minus the fighting), and it shows in how smoothly they work together. Eight hours flew by in a mix of laughter, love, and plenty of candid moments.

Morning Prep: Calm Before the Celebration
When we arrived, Courtney was in the middle of hair and makeup, surrounded by her bridesmaids and mum. After quick introductions (and a much-needed coffee — the Summergrove team are legends), we started capturing all the little details.
The reception setup was modern and elegant, Courtney’s dress looked stunning hanging from the barn doors, and the vibe was full of excitement.
BJ and his brothers were up next — hilarious bunch, full of energy. We took our time, shared some laughs, and let them enjoy the moment. BJ’s daughter joined for a few sweet family shots before we headed back to the girls.

The Ceremony: Led by the Lovely Sue Rayward
The ceremony was led by Sue Rayward, a celebrant we absolutely adore. Sue has this incredible energy — fun, warm, and genuine — that makes every ceremony feel personal and heartfelt.
The Summergrove Estate chapel is an absolute dream to shoot in. Once the vows were said and sealed with a kiss, guests lined up for the confetti toss — always a crowd favourite and one of our favourite moments to capture!

Golden Hour Magic at the Fig Tree
After the ceremony, we gathered everyone for a big group shot (Anthony loves the hilltop angle — great for the view and his height). Family photos followed, then it was time for the bridal party session.
We snapped a few shots in the chapel and gardens before heading to the fig tree — a quiet, romantic spot at the back of the property with breathtaking views. As the sun dipped, that warm golden light hit just right — absolute magic.

The Reception: Dancing, Laughs, and All the Good Vibes
The night kicked off with DJ Corey, another top Kiwi who knows how to get the party started. The couple made their grand entrance, followed by heartfelt speeches, cake cutting, a fun guest game, and their first dance under fairy lights and dry ice.
Once the dance floor opened, it was pure joy — drinks flowing, laughter echoing, and everyone celebrating together. That’s what weddings are all about — connection, happiness, and memories that last forever.

Final Thoughts
Courtney and BJ’s Summergrove Estate wedding had it all — love, laughter, incredible views, and the best vibes. We’re so grateful to have captured it all and to call this our job.
